For this getaway we propose a charming accommodation and an unforgettable wine experience. The completely walled estate, with more than 2,500 orange trees in full production, surrounds a 19th century farmhouse, where King Alfonso XII sought his rest and where you can enjoy ample space for cycling, swimming in its pools, playing mini-golf and savouring the excellent local cuisine. A pleasant stroll or bike ride will take you to the beach. The winery you will visit has family roots going back more than seventy years. Their aim is to revitalise the winemaking tradition in the Baix Maestrat, a region with a wine-growing history that was affected by the phylloxera plague and government agricultural regulation in the 1960s. The third generation strives to produce quality wines that reflect the unique character of the Maestrat. The visit will be accompanied by a tasting, cold meats and local cheeses.
