Dive into the land of the authentic Ferreiros

Wrap yourself in nature between A Pontenova and Taramundi, a region known for the past and present of the Ferreiros or blacksmiths, an admirable craft. During our half board stay, we will have an exclusive demonstration of the manual production of a traditional knife by a master craftsman. We will visit the Museum of Cutlery, with one of the most important collections in Spain. We will end our visit to the Ethnographic Ensemble of Os Teixois (Taramundi), declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. For about 45 minutes they will show us how they used to work several hydraulic devices: mallet, mill, grinding wheel, fulling mill and a small power station.
